I wonder how much more we are paying for these services over cable...

from 15 years ago. The idea of YTTV and Hulu were that they could beat cable TV prices. The problem is that cable had everything, while each streaming services has some deficiencies. I miss some channels but I'm not willing to pay an extra $17.99 a month for a platform that has 1 stinking channel that I like. I'm sure others feel differently and are willing to pay. But the question remains - are we paying more for TV now than we were 15 years ago for the same channels on cable?
