ding, ding, ding, correct!

The longest was War and Remembrance, starring Robert Mitchum was 30 hours long in 1988-1989. Other long ones were Centennial (26 hours), North and South (23 hours), and The Winds of War (18 hours). Shorter ones included Band of Brothers, The Thornbirds, Roots and Shogun, all 8-12 hours each. Realistically, War and Remembrance was a continuation of The Winds of War as both had the same theme and starring characters.
