I will say the books on top are intriguing. I'd like to look through those.
Even if it's worth more than $2k it's still an amazingly intense time investment and a big money investment as the best resale value for cards includes getting them graded. Not to mention, there are complaints, whether true or not, that the grading companies aren't always the most ethical either. Scrapping metal would be easier money IMO.
