ding, ding, ding, correct!

While pitching for the Rangers, Charlie Hough started 40 games in 1987. Forty+ starts was not uncommon until the early 1970’s, when five man rotations became standard. Wilbur Wood started 182 games for the White Sox in 1972-1975. Now with a standard 5 man rotation, almost nobody gets more than 33 starts/season.
