ding, ding, ding, correct!
Even though the birth rate was much lower, the increased population produced 4.32M babies in 2007, 4.32M, finally exceeding 1957’s mark of 4.30M, pushing 1957 into second place. Note that no year since 2007 has passed either 2007 or 1957.
