ding, ding, ding, correct!
After all of their successes in the 20th century, I never would have guessed that almost 25% of 21st century could go by without either of these teams reaching the championship game. I don't know the cause, but my guess is that Jerry Jones' purchase of the Cowboys in 1989 and Dan Snyder's purchase of the Redskins in 1999 had someone to do with the change of fortune.
