Good info..thank you. I am embarrassed I don't remember all that. Since->

I've been driving Mercedes, I do take my vehicle to the dealer. I have had the same service advisor since day one of my first Mercedes. I do all their recommended service and feel I get value (as you know, it ain't cheap). I also trust them, which is MORE than I can say about the BMW dealer. I will get brakes flushed (by my guy) due to time between flushes, but plugs are less much than 50K., Thanks again for the info and advice... If she is determined to hang on to "Frankie" (yep, she named the car after Frank Beamer), I* will make sure ALL mechanical parts are up to date and solid!

I generally flush my brake fluid every 2-3 years - I do it myself.

Should you flush your brake fluid? Just go with the old adage.
