What's changed so much to prompt this seemingly meteoric rise in suicide?->

It seems a national epidemic! I NEVER remember hearing of so many in ALL walks of life. I believe most of the mass shootings are an extension of wanting to commit suicide (by cop). Difference is, those sick bastards want to take out as many as they can....compounding the tragedy of suicide into slaughtering people who have no thought of endings their lives. I guess it's a question with no simple answer, but WTF?!?
