It's their attention to detail and customer service that is the difference.

Not to mention their store brand items and foods are great... Which is something you are not likely to say about any grocery store chain. But having been shopping with my family members that have worked at or managed at Publix in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, it's amazing the things they point out. Things they say would get them demoted or fired. Cleanliness is the major one. Customer service. Little things like having shelves fronted properly... It's just a different level. My brother in law goes with me to do our beach week shopping when we head to the beach. He is in shock at what it's like. We don't have anything close to that in SWVA.
