I ran over a nest once cutting the grass. I lost count of how many times ->

I was stung. I had taken an extra vacation day to get grass cut, and my wife had returned to work. It hurt like hell so I went inside and scrubbed it with a cold washcloth. HAD to tell someone, so i called my wife a work...She FREAKED. Can you breath?... Yes...Are you sure?... I'd know if I couldn't breathe. I was clueless but to placate her, I said I'd call the doctor. THEY freaked. and said to call 911 (WHAT??) I consented to go to the emergency room and drive myself. Got there and was embarrassed to admit why I was there.. THEY freaked and took me immediately and gave me a shot (I guess Benadryl) and made me stay there an hour! DAMN....didn't realized how serious it was. They also told me that you can be NOT allergic today, and next time you have a terrible reaction. That bee sting venom never leaves your system, and the cumulative effect can get you at any time....DAMN AGAIN!! SO....man I am very glad you were OK. It apparently is a bigger deal that stinging like hell....
