I did the campus tour with them and was impressed. It's a small school but really nice campus, friendly staff, and recently updated sports facilities. They also have a football team now (D3) after a decades-long hiatus, if that makes any difference. No idea what their academic reputation is these days, but many RC alums I know have done quite well for themselves. Geographically, Roanoke College is in Salem and not in Roanoke. Which makes it a slightly quicker drive to Blacksburg, always a plus in my book.
