1. Where did the sport of Curling originate? Scotland

4. Curling is also referred to as "the Roaring Game". Why? The sound of the curling stone makes on the ice sounds like a Roar.
5. Curling is a very polite game. What is unique about what happens before & after each game? The teams shake hands at the beginning and end of the game
6. There are 2 hog lines in Curling. What do they mean? The near hog line is the line you have to release the stone behind. The far hog line is the line the stone must completely pass to remain in play.
