well- you take it and throw it where you want him to go

so like take it and throw it over by the fence or wherever and he may recognize the scent- he is noticing the scent in the house probably- so gotta take care of that also....with some pretty aggressive cleaner... maybe your least favorite neighbors border - kidding- depends on the size of the yard... etc... but probably being driven by scent...- at least a possibility

We do spot clean the indoor messes with an aggressive enzyme cleaner.
