Big fan of AMTRAK! But the current version of the ACELA isn't worth it.

Putting a high-speed train on old infrastructure just doesn't work. I haven't been on the new ACELA yet, but the old cars made for a very uncomfortable ride at speed on the old tracks. But I'll book NE Regional service any time it's an option!

Yeah, the NE takes 3 hours for me to NYC, the Acela takes 2 1/2 ...

When I lived in CT, when I'd go to a VT game, it would be Amtrak to DC,
