Two weeks in Italy last year and never felt better

We are pretty good at eating well at our house though I can say we could do better. It's more or less me and the SGT as my wife works evenings coaching. The SGT's palate is pretty limited, but we do manage. That said, my wife, daughter, and I spent two weeks in Italy last year. My stomach was never happier. We made our own breakfast which was usually eggs and coffee and ate wherever we could during the day. The food quality everywhere was vastly superior. Ate a lot pasta and drank a lot of aperol spritzes. No gas, bloating, heartburn, etc. Like much of Europe, there are far fewer processed foods in Italy. The pasta was better, the ingredients were better, everything was better.

If I could, I'd live on coffee alone

If I'm in the UK, I'll eat at pubs or real restaurants.
