I've never had good luck with lumber deliveries from a "big box store".

The few times I've tried it, I got what I expected, which was the "banana boards" from the top of the pile that were simply the easiest ones to load up. Home Depot probably has better employees than Lowe's, but I know what to expect from Lowe's, so I just go pick out my lumber myself. Good luck with your project...should be easy digging after all of this rain.
