I recently had the exact same anxiety issue with the MRI
Had one on my shoulder in the early 90s. Horrible experience trapped in that tube. About 20 years later had one on my hip that required an injection into it before. Was left on the table forever, and my back seized up. Three years ago, I needed one on the other shoulder that required the contrast injection. This was during covid with all the masks as well. I had quite a bit of anxiety over the procedure. Didn't sleep all night and got to my appointment and the tech had called in sick, so it was canceled. Rescheduled and now the anxiety was much greater. Between the dread of the injection and the MRI, I was struggling and I'm pretty laid back and don't let anything bother me. Dentist? No worries. I have to say that I was pretty surprised at how much better the process is now. I was not shoved in a tube for an hour. Open MRI seems pretty standard. I got through it much better than I thought I would. Hopefully this will be your experience. For me, I was in tremendous pain, and this was the only way I was going to get cleared for surgery to relieve it. The result was a torn labrum a third of the way around and detached bicep.
I wish you the best. Hopefully my experience will give you peace that it will be ok.

Yeah, knees, hips, and abdomens aren't too bad. But shoulder, neck or head

Can you schedule for an open MRI machine? Those are usually better.**
