I was not prescribed one. I went to physical therapy 3 times a week and

did the exercises given to me by the PT staff at least 3 times a day. I started PT 3 days after surgery. My advice for people who want to do most of their PT at home is don't. I found I looked forward to the social interaction at PT (I used ATI Physical Therapy which has multiple therapists working with multiple patients at the same time) to break the feeling of isolation at home by not getting out to do my normal routines. That was exacerbated by the lonely nights sleeping (not particularly well) alone in my recliner until I was able to sleep in my bed again.
