In the 80s, there was an Elvis Museum in the then-new Potomac Mills Mall in Dale City/Woodbridge. I don't know why it existed in a huge outlet mall, but it did. Eventually it closed, and the day they were driving Elvis' actual limo out of the museum I was watching and talking to two older ladies, both of whom were Elvis fans. The museum owner? director? saw us, and asked if we wanted to ride in the back seat. Heck yeah. So we piled in and took a ride into the parking lot. I may or may not have made a bad joke about barf on the floorboard, I can't recall if I thought it or said it. But those two ladies were over the moon to be so close to The King. I wish I had had a camera, but back then, you didn't always have a camera in your pocket.
