out of town. She had same issue as you. The leak was slow, and I added air weekly for a few weeks, until she could get to Costco (they weren't runflats) and buy the same tire BMW would supply for 50% more. Simple job... I get a call just as I was leaving a meeting from my wife saying during the TEST DRIVE, the tech noticed she needed spark plugs and a few other things. Evidently, after trying to convince her she would NEVER make it as far as home on a plugged tire, they went for a test drive. What? YOU don't test drive a car after you plug a tire? I got on the phone and told the guy to hand her the keys and she would pay for the TIRE plug. He said, well we have it back in the bay with the front tires off checking the brakes (which THEY had replaced 12 months earlier) to make sure they were not too worn to be safe. I repeated my request...not as nicely this time.. That is the LAST time I ever darkened their door (OK, so I'm a slow learner).
