I will get a 6 of the Maximus now and then, and I keep the standard IPA on hand as well. One of my other favorites is the Beast from Both Coasts - it's a combo of a West Coast and East Coast hazy. That one is about 8% as well. I also like just about anything from Stone but keep FML on hand always. They also get me with their seasonals. My BD is Halloween, and I will splurge on their "Best by 10/31/24". I am with you. When perusing Total Wine, the first thing I look for is ABV, and anything under 7.5% is probably not getting a second look.

Lagunitas Maximus IPA is 9.0% alcohol. These guys must have seen me coming.
