Lagunitas Maximus IPA is 9.0% alcohol. These guys must have seen me coming.

Admittedly, I now look for high alcohol content on these new beers flooding the market. More bang for the buck, I say. Plus, I get to dupe the chauffeur, who may or may not be counting. So I snapped up a couple of 6 packs of Lagunitas Maximus BOGO at Publix where it is a pleasure to shop. But I think...I think...I may not buy this stuff again. I'm the kind of beer drinker that raises his glass/bottle/can 3 or 4 times and poof, it's gone. This 9 percent is out of control. Sure, I may be typing ok, so you people are left unawares, but the speech slurring is almost instant, ha. Somebody may be getting wise. Consider this a PSA - be careful out there!

I like IPA’s, which are higher octane unless it’s a session IPA. **
