I cannot disagree with any of the below, but if you are like me...
Finding a guy that can/will and is trustworthy is nearly impossible. The one advantage of LoweDepot is that they guarantee the work, or did the last time we used them... So even if Jim Bob has skipped town with a bunch of unfinished projects, you can still go to bigbox and yell until they make it right.
That said on the rare instances where I know a guy, I go that route. Usually that is me...sucks when the wife files complaints!
