Their choice -- which has been/is likely to be stay at school

Oldest is in his fourth year at Tech and we live just a little over an hour away. He came home while he was in the dorm (obviously) but since he moved off campus we only see him at our house on holidays and special occasions. My second born will be going away to school a little over an hour farther beyond Blacksburg in August. I expect that we will have the same experience with him. Third son will be going off in a couple of years, and I expect him to be similar to his brothers in that regard. We intentionally did our best to raise them to be independent, so we're okay with it. Plus it's not hard to stay in touch and maintain the relationship through texts/calls/other means. ** Edited by Hokie Fiji at 4/25/2024, 11:48:38 AM
