I play there quite often. They always let us play a twosome when we go.
I’d play Cougar Point first. It’s probably the easiest of the courses, and least played.
Now, I’ve never played in mid-summer, so not sure how crowded it gets then.
I’d hit it as early in day as possible, before all the vacationers wake up, to avoid crowds.
And trust me, I’ve seen some pretty bad players, so no one will think otherwise.
There are also driving ranges, and a golf school if you really want some tips/lessons.
It’s not cheap though.
I always get treated by my son-in-law, so I don’t complain.
