Weird Hawk story...several years ago I'm out in my driveway getting

something out of my car. Suddenly I hear this loud "thud" sound. A good size Hawk had fallen off the roof and landed on top of my large plastic (roll out to the street type) trashcan. The Hawk was completely motionless. Not knowing if it was just momentarily stunned I did not want to get too close and get a handful of talons. I grabbed a shovel and lifted it off the trash can and put in the bushes at the back of the yard. I thought about calling animal control...but when I went back to the bushes about 10 minutes later it was gone.
