Uva LB Kam Robinson done for the season ACl injury he sustained in Duke
Game. Tough break for Kam, big break for VT. He was UVA's best defensive player. Anchor for their interior run defense. VT has much better shot to beat Hoos with Kam out.

The timing really sucks for him. I hope it's a quick recovery.

Really hate it for the young man.
Would never wish that on any opposing player. If he missed our game due to a bad sprain, I'd take that.

It is a bad sprain.

Thought it was an ACL tear. Is that wrong?

Sprains are levels of tearing. Grade 3 usually considered complete.

It's not going to matter
I really love the effort our team has put into this season knowing most games are pretty much hopeless. That said, there is a pattern to these games. VT comes out playing hard, runs the ball well, but can't finish drives because of a stupid penalty or a forward pass is attempted resulting in an incompletion or sack. The defense cannot force a punt and gets worn down quickly. We may be able to run the ball effectively, but we cannot finish these drives. I see another game where there are not many punts for either team, and that's not a good thing.

We're gonna need a few turnovers
Which we aren't good at. But it's uva. We might get a couple.

IIRC we've had like 6 all season and none recently
Having no pass rush at all does not help in that respect. Wake beat uva by forcing turnovers (3), running the ball, and keeping them out of the end zone. We are only good at one of those three things.
