With am alum like Mark Cuban, I'm surprised the money for football is
just now starting to flow at IU.

It has been flowing for the past 7 years to be honest
They spent a LOT of money on football specific facilities under Tom Allen and have had a really nice NIL collective with Cuban and the Cook family. Their football facilities were way better than VTs when I visited 6 years ago.

They changed ADs five years ago.
They promoted their version of the head of the Hokie Club to AD, and hired a new head of fundraising. So basically they have two big fundraisers now. They developed their strategic vision for a few years, and then hired Cignetti. It was a well-laid plan, and they are now reaping the benefits.

The had money before that...they just upgraded facilities to B10 standards
Under Allen. When they hired Cignetti, everything was ready (facilities, NIL) for a great coach to utilize to grow. Their football only facilities were way better than VTs 6-7 years ago.

I've posted so many pictures of IU renovations and facilities since 2016
sounding the alarm here, but went on deaf ears. The VT "we didn't know" BS. VT is such a JOKE. I can't even defend us anymore. IIWII

Everyone ignored because they said "Basketball school"
and they were like VT is a "Football school". Wrong, Wrong and Wrong

YESSIREEEEEE! Vision, Plan, and Leaders who made it happen. We DESPERATELY
need new ADs and athletic dept staff in Fundraising. We're still sooo far behind...which you and I both know, understand.
