Our schedule after week 1…looks much tougher than preseason
Only Wake looks like it can be booked as a W
Even Cal looked a lot better than anticipated
USCe, FSU, Miami in top 15
GT & UL very possibly can be ranked by time we play them
I didn’t see 5 top 25 teams on the schedule but looks very possible
And UVA didn’t have their normal struggle with an FCS/G5 school. They look much better

When we win, it's a tad more enjoyable that way.
It all starts and ends with ADWB. His lack of taking the initiative, and only reacting to situations, has put us in a hole.
TAMU does not lack for resources. They also gave me cause to donate and join the 12th Man Foundation, as they engage with the fanbase.
I cannot say the same for any number of paltry efforts from Blacksburg and the Hokie Club. I even donate to Triumph NIL, but feel it is all in vain. Too little, too late.
7-5 or 8-4 are meeting expectations. Losing to Vandy, will be unacceptable this year. I am expecting us to take Ls from the Canes and Noles.

I’m more optimistic post week 1 but still have those games as losses. My optimism now extends to a .500 season being POSSIBLE although I need more to think it’s probable. No P4 QB is going to be the limiting factor.

The key is can they avoid a game of wack-a-mole and clean up one thing and have another pop up. But I certainly like the chances better after seeing game 1 than I did in previous years when it moments of sloppiness surrounded by a half of decent football and a half of WTF.

Feel we actually have hope for the first time since Pry lost in Norfolk three years ago. That was a total crap show!
