We need to give Brent some time. Next year things will be better.

Almost There
I think in about three years Pry will be at the corner we actually need to turn. With his blinker on,.....

Are you kidding me?
In my humble opinion: Coach Pry's time is up.

I thought that the OL situation was going to keep us from knowing if the
new coordinator hires were enough to right the ship... I didn't think we'd be able to win more than games with the state of the OL, and was afraid that Pry wouldn't survive for us to see. I was kinda reserved to wait another year, but I just don't think that is defensible after the 2nd half Sat night. Siefkis couldn't make adjustments out of the stupid bear that was clearly not going to work against their alignments. Monty couldn't adjust to the OL being in shambles, even though he had to know that was bound to happen. Pry waived the white flag (even tho he didn't realize it at the time) by not going for it on 4th and inches in the 3rd when the D needed time to regroup, and we couldn't afford to let them possess the ball for a long field again - showed zero awareness for the situation. Should have learned from the 1st half last year: possessions are worth as much as points against them. Letting them score quicker off of a short field if we weren't successful was a better option than letting them run so much clock and score anyway, which is clearly what was going to happen based on their opening drive, especially making the D get right back out after the O's 3 & out... not giving Siefkis a chance to figure his sh*t out (not that he could, anyway, idk). All to say, doesn't look good that the hires are the fix and all will be good after another year once we get the OL in shape...

So montgomery should have known 2 of his linemen would get injured? How
dare he not know he'd have 4 of his top o-linemen out, 2 before the game, and 2 before halftime.

Because it's football - guys get hurt. You have to "plan for the worst"
WADR, the guys out pre-game were the top 2 back-ups. Therefore, when you lose 2 during the game, you're putting in 3rd stringers... Gotta have a section of plays on your sheet in case that happens. But, here's what happened when Garrett went out: we line up, plenty of time on the clock, the D puts 3 guys over the new LT, obviously blitzing that side, Drones doesn't even look over there to change the play or protection, runs the play, which is a straight drop back and they easily get to him from the L side.

You just said the problem at end. It’s not OC. It’s Drones

It will be interesting to see how that game turns out. If Vandy wins,
then they are probably better than predicted. They may be getting back to where they were with James Franklin.
