Army
Seeing Army beat K State yesterday makes me even more disgruntled with our athletic department and coaching staff. No NIL benefits for Army players…coaching and culture!

Culture is big there at West Point Athletics.
When my daughter was going through her Cadet Basic Training ("Beast") this Summer, we saw the Athletic Director and the Superintendent at multiple functions before, during and after Beast interacting with my daughter and the other D1 athletes.

Good times! Even their football players go through Beast! Congrats to your daughter on the academy appointment. Awesome achievement!

But it's all good as they have to get prepared for the Fall season and CBT will tear you down a bit in those last 2 weeks with time in the field. I know my daughter's feet were pretty rough when we went up for A-Day.
Thanks on the wishes. She is "home" there and committed to playing softball there before her senior year. We know a lot of the athletes and families there as West Point really does a nice job of getting us ALL to feel that "family" vibe as Student/Athlete/Cadets. We have season tickets for football starting next season when the Michie expansion is completed and the new suites are ready. I could not make it up for the first game this year but will fly back from the Middle East to see the game in 2 weeks as well as watch our daughter play two "Fall ball" softball games the following day.
