develop players that might be just a bit undersized...but smart and coachable. Under Grobe and Clawson Wake
seemed to have a particularly good team every 3-4 years when the development of players would pay off. All of that goes out the window with the portal. Wake is one of the smallest schools playing at the major college level.

SMU and TCU are next and they are around 11-12k.
Their lack of size was bound to catch up to them eventually.

Technically Army and Navy and Air Force would be among the smallest as well if we expand it to the G5.
Tulsa only have about 3,800 and is crazy small.
