So, this AAU thing hurting our Big10 chances...

How has that not been solved? Is it that hard to get an invite to become a member? It seems we are roughly a top-50 research university and there are 69 US-based universities in the AAU (many not in the top 50). Shouldn't we have received and accepted an invite at some point over the last 10 or 20 years!?!?
