Valid point, of course.

Then, in mobile mode, which is where long posts cause the most grief, you can collapse threads, roll right past his initial long post, and not have to scroll through more long posts that are all displayed because they're thread starters. But ... I'm done teaching people how to use the boards. I'm just banning people now. If you don't intuitively understand good message board etiquette, it's not my job, or the job of your fellow posters, to educate you.
