Why Would the SEC or B1G Want Miami?

I certainly get the attraction to Notre Dame and maybe UNC, and Clemson presently in football, but don't really understand why Miami keeps getting mentioned. Other than winning titles 20 Years ago they haven't been reliant in football and they don't ever fill their stadium with fans. Miami, the city presents far better entertainment options and people go to them instead of seeing the Canes. The truth is we have a much better fan base than they do. BTW, can't wait to see the empty LA Coliseum when Rutger s comes to town.
