As to NIL ... let's see how many programs will benefit.

If small, how credible is an amateur championship that is a loaded deck with NIL? Even major professional sports seek to have some degree of parity for their franchise interest. What will happen with NIL when colleges look to charge their NIL recipients college tuition and royalty fees for using their platform? Will colleges look to their conferences to instill some parity for lesser NIL members like limiting scholarships for those who benefit from NIL? NIL is new ... will there be any future regulation on its use? For those financially supporting NIL, what happens if that individual underperforms on the field, gets injured, is arrested, the team does poorly or the NIL recipient is not media-friendly? Will this be a poor investment that's sustainable? As you can see NIL's future has lots of questions that likely will portend changes. So who knows for sure if NIL will produce National Championships in a sport and if this success will be as meaningful to consumers and fans as it is now. Oh well ... another National Championship ... so what! Where's my cell phone?
