It may be true that VA analyis may not apply to every state or every recruit BUT I'm confident that attrition rates will be similar in other states. I've done an unposted analysis of every Virginia Tech class from 2012 - 2018 to determine which recruits contributed at VIRGINIA TECH without considering whether they contributed at subsequent schools. My analysis found that 53% of the 30 four star recruits contributed at Virginia Tech compared to 49% of the 130 three star recruits. My opinion is that a high three star would be as likely to contribute as a four star but one can never account for off-field incidents, injuries or academic issues.
