Okay for discussion sake let's say the ACC adopts your proposal. How will

you feel if this happens? Miami goes 12-0 VT goes 11-1 (only loss is to Miami 35-34 OT and didn't play FSU or Clemson) Clemson goes 11-1 (only loss is to FSU (8-4) 52-0 and didn't play Miami) VT remains ranked ahead of Clemson in each weekly FBS Playoff Poll leading up to the final regular regular season poll which will determine who plays in the ACC Championship Game. The previous week's poll ranks the 3 ACC teams like this: Miami #1 VT #5 Clemson #10 Then in the final regular season poll is released to reveal this.... Miami #1 Clemson #5 VT #12 As a result, Clemson gets to play Miami in the CCG and VT will likely be left out of the FBS Playoffs. Would you still be okay relying on something subjective when there are still objective criteria that could be used to decide a tiebreaker?

I think the ACC/Big 12 tie-breakers are more of a smart move...

Yes, but it isn't until 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th in the pecking order.
