You offer enough money to get two

You cannot believe that the QB room next year is going to Grunkenmeyer or Pribula (whichever one comes) and then the kid from CA. You have to find at least another P4 level QB that understands the situation. If you get Pribula or a QB with one year of eligibility left, then you can get a younger QB to compete for next year. In this case getting a one year rental makes sense. But they have to and will get more bodies in that QB room.
