The vast majority of refs are on the up and up. Take the replay for Miami against VT. I steadfastly believe they were wrong to over turn the Hokies touchdown. But I dont think someone at the ACC is fixing outcomes of games so Miami ends up in the playoff. The ACC champion will be in the 12-team playoffs. But refs calls, good and bad are part of the game. You have to win, and do so in a way so a bad call doesn’t end up being the deciding factor. I say that as a Hokie of 37-years and a Boston Red Sox, Celtics, Patriots and Bruins fan of 49-years. Lakers always get the call? Get Larry Bird. Yankees get the call, get David Ortiz. NFC wins the Super Bowl, get Tom Brady. Hokies wanna win, find another Michael Vick.
