It's like trying to keep up with the Joneses but they are always ahead...

...no matter what you do. How much do we want to push and nickle and dime our fan base? At some point you have to say enough is enough. I haven't contributed for years and have no desire to contribute in the current environment, no matter what fundraising campaign we want to run. VT as a school will move forward and continue to provide a great education and future leaders (both civilian and military). As far as athletics? It's time to turn a different leaf and see how it all plays out. At this point I much rather play at a lower level with student athletes that actually want to be at VT and not cycle through for the next paycheck.
