I've got a brother-in-law who believes all pro sports are fixed.

And he's not a flat-earther, no-moon-landing conspiracy theorist. He just doesn't care for sports and is very cynical about them. As well as athletes -- he owned his own business before retiring and said that he would never hire an athlete. He feels that they have no ingenuity/creativity about them.
