Exactly, the SEC and Big 10 are on another level now

Rutgers will never contend in the B10, but they'll have a ton of money and good players will still go there because they'll have more to spend with NIL. Maryland played chess while the rest of the ACC schools were playing checkers. Still wish VT would have tried to move on from the ACC 10-15 years ago. It's a 2 conference league now. The Big 12 and ACC will never been on the same level again.
