Many of those marquee games were against teams who won the NC

The only one of those we won was OSU in their house. We had really good teams that played Alabama, but Bama had national championship caliber teams. Boise State was a horribly played game...at least the 1st Qtr was. It put us so far in a hole that we couldn't escape. USC-W had some really, really outrageous calls that went against us. Thinking of the pass interference call where we didn't touch their receiver...and it wasn't close. There was about a yard separation, but they called it to keep a USC-W drive alive. That was far worse than the Danny Coale TD reversal by the disgraced P10 replay official.
