His OV is May 29. Committing early assures him of a seat.

I can’t find where he’s visited anywhere but that seems to be true of many top recruits. Peter Bourque was not in VT’s OV list but I find he was semi stealthed into B’burg in mid April. Kinda hard to hide Peter Bourque right not. Gotta wonder about Chris Whitehead (Va #1) and others. But I’m sure, with their lifetime to date spent immersed in football, they have a feel for their preferred destinations and coaches. IMO it’s a game of being assured of a seat where you want to be or taking a chance you’ll have to be satisfied somewhere you don’t want to be or where you think you’ll be overlooked because of the competition. Conversely, coaches want to weigh the probability of taking the excellent talent against waiting on the elite talent. Several interesting gambits seem to be playing out this year with 5 of the top 10 Va recruits visiting May 29 and one more on June 5. Most notably for the defense Chris Whitehead Edge (#1) and Kenaz Sullivan S (#4). Plenty of Md and Pa top ten'r recruits that weekend. Feeding frenzy,

I'm not sure why losing to OSU so much was ever a knock on him.

Has he actually visited Blacksburg yet? Seems to strange to commit with all
RichCat 05/08/26 09:04 AM ET

VT will need to increase Lane capacity to 86k seats in a couple of years

Someone needs to invent multilevel "roll out seating sections"

I've thought for years

Premium seating will be the likely focus of any expansion, not capacity**
BROman Hokie 05/08/26 09:18 AM ET
Yeah, this is probably the max that Lane will seat, and that's fine.**

Tear down NEnd Zone. Could get 10K more than now. Expensive though**

Assuming it's a real offer, I'm most impressed by the Indiana offer
