I remember getting nothing but incoming fire (and zero support) for, among many things, saying the Marve hire was a terrible decision - not just purely as a hire - but from a football program and athletic department strategic standpoint. Not to mention saying things like winning the press conference and having snowball fights with students meant absolutely nothing.
