Personally I like the interstate rivalries throughout the season, but keep
those intrastate rivalries on the final weeked where possible. There are exceptions of course, but I generally like that.
The consolidation of power in the SEC and B1G has really messed up some of these. I mean - SMU vs. Cal? Fresno @ UCLA? Stanford @ San Jose State? The list of weird games is now endless. Who really cares about Oklahoma vs LSU? A fake forced rivalry like many of these others.
