100% agree with this.
Orlando Franklin wasn't great - but announcing really isn't nearly as easy as it looks/sounds. Some of the "old guard" are starting to simply be shills, lazy, or simply parodies of themselves.
Brock Huard is one that I really enjoy listening to. He is very fair to both teams and turns college football into an epic event without having to resort to histrionics and volume. I wish he we had an equivalent to him for east coast football.
