When you have a 3-9 team and a new coach comes in, you should do well in the On3 formula.
But in the end, what you lose isn’t that important - particularly with a 105 man roster - because most of them weren’t going to be contributors in ‘26 regardless.
It’s not entirely meaningless but it’s not particularly reflective of a whole lot other than the bottom of the roster is much better than last year.
It’s like saying replacing a bunch of .220 hitters on a .230 hitting team with .260 hitters is better than replacing a few .240 hitters on a .265 hitting team with a handful of .265 hitters.
