They were rejected by the big 10 during that time due to anti Catholic bias, but to this day, no one is going to control Notre Dame. Joining the big East or ACC was just nuances needed for the other sports, the program of Parseghin, Rockne, is in their mind the ultimate pinacle. Kinda arrogant huh???
